Bio
Evelyn Carr-White is a multidisciplinary artist working in the lower Hudson Valley where she lives with her family.
Evelyn has studied art at The Cooper Union and The Arts Student League in NYC, The Carving and Sculpture Center in Rutland, VT and under private tutelage with the Mexican sculptor Julio Martinez.
Prior to discovering her passion as a sculptor, she was an actor, jewelry designer and interior designer.
Preferring not to sketch or plan any pieces in advance, she is guided by the materials and streams of consciousness.
